    Indiana Legal Services, Inc. (ILS) provides free advice and representation on civil (not criminal) cases for low-income clients.

  • Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV)

    The ICADV works to prevent domestic violence and coordinates Abuse Intervention Programs. It also partners statewide with shelters to provide legal representation in divorces and paternities for survivors escaping abuse.

  • Order of Protection E-Filing

    Civil protection orders are available for situations involving domestic or family violence, sexual assault, stalking, harassment, or child sex grooming. These types of situations can be very dangerous and even result in death.

    Taking a step like filing for a protection order can offer a level of safety, but also could increase your risk. There are resources available to help you decide whether take this step.

  • Protective Order Project

    The Protective Order Project (“POP”) is a law student-directed project at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law designed to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment obtain civil protective orders from the court.

    Regular Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
